How It Works
The Salik system uses RFID technology to automatically deduct fees when you pass through a toll gate.
Register Vehicle
Purchase a Salik tag online or at a petrol station. Stick it to your windshield and activate it via the mobile app or website.
Drive Through
Simply drive under the toll gates located on major highways. No need to stop, slow down, or pay cash manually.
Auto Deduction
AED 4 is automatically deducted from your prepaid account. You receive an SMS notification if your balance is low.

Violations & Fines

Insufficient Balance
Passing through a gate without enough credit. You have 5 days to recharge before the fine applies.
Unregistered Vehicle
Passing a toll gate with a tag that isn't registered in the system within 10 days of passing.
Tampered Tag
Using a Salik tag that has been altered, damaged, or removed from its original windshield position.
